Resolve To Write More In 2017

with No Comments

How many times a day do you have an idea that you wish you could and would write about?

“I don’t need an alarm clock. My ideas wake me.”
—Ray Bradbury, WD

Why Resolve To Write More Than Ever Before?

If you are still reading I think you’ve probably been writing in journals off and on for a very long time.  And I bet it has crossed your mind a few times to someday write a book.

Well, here’s what I would love to hear about from you – that you have decided to write more this year than ever before.  It’s not too late to make another 2017 resolution.

“If a nation loses its storytellers, it loses its childhood.”
—Peter Handke

Write more…

If you wish you would and think you should…  then start today.  Don’t doubt yourself.

“It’s none of their business that you have to learn to write. Let them think you were born that way.”
—Ernest Hemingway

Authors begin as writers.  It isn’t always good to keep your ideas to yourself.

“Just write every day of your life. Read intensely. Then see what happens. Most of my friends who are put on that diet have very pleasant careers.”
—Ray Bradbury, WD

Take 10 minutes and google an idea you have.  Read about it, write about it, post it.  Post it on your blog if you have one, post it on Facebook, or at the very least, tweet about it :)

And one more thing…  put it in the comments below – I’d love to hear from you!

“Let the world burn through you. Throw the prism light, white hot, on paper.”
—Ray Bradbury, WD
