Lots of people monetize what they know. They create information products that people want and they sell like hot cakes! Welcome to Part One of my new video series on creating your own unique products.
Learning how to make money sharing what you know can be a very difficult selling process or it can be really fun and rewarding. The best strategy and easiest way to monetize what you know is to use the “Go-Giver” philosophy for selling. I’m reading Go-Givers Sell More
It describes a sales philosophy and spells out the strategies for sharing what you know in order to help other people and in the process, you get paid. It involves giving of yourself, using your unique gifts given to you by your life experiences.
In other words, the strategy is that to sell more to others, you have to share more of yourself.
Becoming You
So to sell more, you have to discover more about you. Self-discovery helps you grow into who you were created to be. Once you know more about who you are, you won’t be able to keep your unique gifts to yourself.
You will want to give. You will want to share what you know in order to help others. And the whole dread of having to sell something just goes away.
That’s how you get to the point of creating value that only you can create.
Many people in our digital economy are creating information products that sell like hot cakes. Sharing what you know to help others is a common, fulfilling, and lucrative career choice for them, so why not for you?
Information Products Sell Like Hot Cakes!
Over the next few weeks, each blog post that I share here with you will be about creating your own information products. It took me too long to learn how important this is. And it definitely took me too long to monetize what I know.
I’ll share with you what I’ve learned to do through trial and error so that you can skip those two things.
More about that coming up in Part Two!
